Courtesy Visit: COOU Ag. Vice Chancellor, Hosts The Department Of Mass Communication And The Management Of Unizik 94.1 FM

 

On Friday 12th April 2024, the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, received a delegation from her home University, the Department of Mass Communication, and the Management of Unizik FM of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

 

While the Department of Mass Communication was led by the Head of the Department, Dr Chioma Agbasimelo, the Unizik FM 94.1 FM Management was led by the Director, Prof. Ifeoma Dunu.

 

They thanked the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo for the appointment of Prof. Omenugha as the Ag. Vice Chancellor of the University.

 

Appreciating the visit, the highly elated Omenugha thanked the delegation and nostalgically expressed her early beginning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University promising to leave a remarkable legacy in COOU.

 

Presentation of gifts to the Vice Chancellor among other things added glamour to the visit.

 

Present in the visit include; the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Prof. Osita Chiaghanam; Deputy Vice Administration, Prof. M. O. Ananti, the Ag. Librarian, Dr Uche Enweani, Ag. Bursar, Dr Nath Udezo, and the University’s Public Relations Officer, Dr Harrison Madubueze.
