COURTESY VISIT: UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT WELCOMES DELEGATION TO 2024 NDLEA/COOU MASS COMMUNICATION NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Ag. Vice Chancellor and Principal officers of the University welcomed the delegation attending the 2024 NDLEA/COOU Mass Communication National Conference on Wednesday, 5th June, 2024.

Dr. Nonye Ezeaka, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for her support and exemplary leadership during the planning stages. She also sought the Vice Chancellor’s continued blessings for the conference. In the same vein, Prof. Anthony Agu, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, extended his best wishes to the Director-General of the NDLEA on behalf of the Faculty and welcomed the Lead Paper Presenter.

In his keynote address, the Chairman of NDLEA, Retired General Buba Marwa, represented by Mr. Daniel Onyishi of the Anambra State command, emphasized the importance of combating drug abuse and praised the University’s commitment to this cause. The lead paper presenter Prof. Ezekiel S. Asemah, Ag. Vice Chancellor of Glorious Vision University, expressed his gratitude for being part of the conference and wished for its success. He commended Dr. Ezeaka for her leadership and praised the Ag. Vice Chancellor for her remarkable contributions.

The Ag. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr expressed her joy at the collaboration between the Department of Mass Communication and the NDLEA. She praised Dr. Ezeaka for her dedication and congratulated the department on their efforts. Her enthusiasm was evident as she joined the department’s rally in solidarity. She also commended the local organizing committee for their teamwork, aligning with the University’s 3V’s initiative.

 

Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, in her address, emphasized the enduring importance of communication and extended her congratulations to all involved.
