In alignment with the 3V’s of Values, Viability, and Visibility that define the current administration of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, who proudly describes herself as the Chief Marketer of the University, represented COOU at the Independence Day Celebration of the Republic of Poland.

At the grand diplomatic event, Prof. Omenugha was warmly received by the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, an encounter that underscored COOU’s growing relationship with the Republic of Poland in the area of international collaborations and academic linkages. The University’s participation reflects its strong commitment to global engagement, intercultural understanding, and partnership in line with its mission of transforming into a truly international institution.

Through this engagement, COOU continues to promote its Value-driven academic culture, emphasizing the relevance of diplomacy, collaboration, and shared learning. The presence of the Vice Chancellor at the celebration further demonstrates the Viability of the University’s internationalization agenda, which aims to create opportunities for student and staff exchanges, research partnerships, and global innovation networks.

As COOU continues to romance with Poland and other nations in pursuit of academic excellence and global relevance, the event serves as a reaffirmation of its Visibility on the international stage. It symbolizes the University’s openness to strategic alliances that will enrich its teaching, research, and community impact.

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Omenugha, the Now University and the University of the Future remains steadfast in pursuing collaborations that expand its global footprint while upholding the 3V’s — Values, Viability, and Visibility — as the driving principles of its transformation journey.
