CELEBRATING BRILLIANCE: MEET CHUKWUEMEKA CLIFFORD OKEKE

There are academic accomplishments that deserve applause, and there are those that invite a closer look at the person behind the achievement. Chukwuemeka Clifford Okeke belongs to the latter category. A First Class graduate of Law from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Chukwuemeka emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Law, recording the third-highest CGPA ever attained in the Faculty. Yet, his story stretches beyond the lecture hall and examination scripts. He distinguished himself as a student leader and communicator, serving as President of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSA) and becoming only the second LAWSA President of the University to graduate with First Class.

Long before the academic honours that now accompany his name, Chukwuemeka Okeke was also a COOUNews Correspondent, where his abilities were nurtured through the mentorship and guidance of the University’s Public Relations Unit under the guardianship of Dr. Harrison Madubueze. The COOUNews platform offered him more than an avenue to write; it became a training ground where he encountered the discipline of responsible communication, factual reporting and the demands of telling the university's stories with clarity and purpose. His emergence as the fifth COOUNews Correspondent to graduate with First Class consequently adds another compelling dimension to an already distinguished academic record.

Truly, he dared to dream, congratulations Chukwuemeka Clifford Okeke
