Chukwura Okpala is a graduate of architecture from Imo State University (BSc. Arch) and Abia State University (MSc. Arch). He also holds a PGD (Education), PGD (Project Management) & Management Certificate. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), registered member of Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), member of Association of Architectural Educators in Nigeria (AARCHES), and an associate member of the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM). He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. He has demonstrated leadership in the application of Agile methodologies and Stakeholder Management in delivering projects timeously while promoting team collaboration. He is also experienced in applying various decision models in improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in projects. His research interest is in environmental sustainability, lean Architecture, and low-energy design solutions. He has served as Associate Dean Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Head Department of Architecture, and on several committees in the University. |
