Yet Another Feather on COOU VC’s Cap

It is very pleasing and joyous to announce to the University Community that our energetic and performing Vice Chancellor, Prof. Greg. C. Nwakoby has recorded yet another landmark achievement in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

The achievement took place today, the 11th day of January, 2021, when he received a philanthropist, Chief/Sir Dan Uchendu (Eze Ugonnaya) in his office at the Igbariam campus of the University. Chief Dan Uchendu willingly and graciously decided to build a befitting Exams & Records Complex for our great University. This indeed is a manifestation of the extreme largesse of Dan Uchendu, an illustrious son of Nnewi in Anambra State.

He came with a Drawing (Building Plan) of the Exams & Records Complex, already prepared, asking the University to modify or accept and which was accepted in its entirety, after proper examination, by the Vice Chancellor and other members of the University Management who were present.

The. V C there and then asked the Director of Physical Planning, Arch Peter Okpala, to look for a suitable place for the erection of the building to commence immediately.

Chief/Sir Dan Uchendu, Danduco, as he is popularly known, who was introduced to the University by his sister, Mrs Angela Ibekwe and Mr. Ibekwe (her husband), came in the company of his friends: Prof. Ezeabasili, Dan Nnadi (Damex), Chiedu Ngwube and Hon. Chief Pandola Edwin Okwuosa.

It is a truism that since the inception of Prof. Greg. C. Nwakoby’s leadership as the Vice Chancellor of COOU, the growth of the University, in all its ramifications, knows no bounds: think of manpower, infrastructure, eradication of cultism and sorting of all sorts, and most importantly, attraction of investors to the University (of which this is one) and many others.  We applaud your efforts in the University sir, keep doing well as you allow this new Exams & Records Complex to be.

We wish you well Onye-isi.
