The Governing Council of the University, during its 114^th meeting on the 16^th and 17^th of September, 2024 gave approval for the recruitment of the underlisted categories of professionals for immediate employment in the Physical Planning Unit of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The vacant positions and qualifications are as follows:

1. Principal Architect: CONUNASS 11, M.Sc or B.Arch Degree in Architecture from recognized school of Architecture and shall be registered with Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and with 9 years post qualification cognate experience.

2. Senior Architect: CONUNASS 9, M.Sc or B.Arch Degree in Architecture from a recognized school of Architecture and registrable with Architects Registration Council of Nigeria  (ARCON), an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and with 6 years post qualification cognate experience.

3. Principal Engineer: CONUNASS 11, B.Sc or B.Engr. in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized University and shall be registered with the Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a full member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and with 9 years post qualification cognate experience.

4. Principal Quantity Surveyor: CONUNASS 11, B.Sc in Quantity Surveying from a recognized University and shall be registered with the Quantity Surveyor’ Registration Board of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), and with 9 years post qualification cognate experience.
