Biography
Prof Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa is a Professor of Solid State Physics in the Department of Industrial Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli. She holds a B.Sc. from University of Jos and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She started her lecturing career as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Industrial Physics, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, Anambra State and rose to the rank of Professor in 2019.Prof. Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa has held various senior academic and administrative positions in the University including serving as Head of Department Industrial Physics, Coordinator, Pre-degree Science program, Coordinator, Pre- degree Science and Non science program, spear headed the commencement of the JUPEB Program in COOU and serving as its first Ag. Director, Senate representative in the Council of COOU and subsequently serving in various council committees which include;1. Appointments and Promotions Committee of the Governing Council of COOU, 2. Building, Works and Site Committee of the Governing Council of COOU, 3. Governing Council Adhoc Committee on the Review of the 2014 University Law, (COOU). She has also served as External examiner for degree programmes and assessed scholars for appointment to the professorial cadre. She has conducted research and published extensively in the area of Solid State Physics as well as edited numerous scholarly works. She has taught full time for 18 years and has successfully supervised many MScs. and PhDs. Prof Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa has five University texts and over 62 research articles published in reputable national and international journals to her credit. Prof Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa is a member of the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (MSESN), Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP), Member World Association for Scientific Research and Technical Innovation (WASRTI), Member, Scientific and technical Research Association (STRA) and Fellow, Institute of Policy and Management Development.Prof Ifeyinwa Amaka Ezenwa is happily married with five adult children.
