IFITE OGWARI CONFERS ADA DIORAMMA TITLE ON PROF. OMENUGHA

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha Fnipr was recently honoured at Ifite Ogwari in Ayamelum Local Government Area, Anambra State, where she was conferred with the prestigious Ada Dioramma title. The ceremony, which attracted community leaders, dignitaries, and residents, celebrated her outstanding leadership, service to humanity, and contributions to education and societal development.

The revered monarch of Ifite Ogwari, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. A. I. Ofuebe (Ogidiga Ifite Ogwari), performed the conferment, describing Prof. Omenugha as a woman of substance whose impact transcends the university system and resonates with the values of excellence, integrity, and community engagement upheld by the town.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied to the colourful event by members of the University Management, alongside friends and well-wishers, whose presence underscored the strong institutional support and goodwill she continues to enjoy. The delegation was warmly received by the host community, further strengthening the cordial relationship between the University and its host communities.

In her remarks, Prof. Omenugha expressed deep gratitude to the traditional ruler and the people of Ifite Ogwari for the rare honour, noting that the Ada Dioramma title would inspire renewed commitment to service, inclusive leadership, and partnerships that advance education and community development. She reaffirmed the University’s dedication to fostering mutually beneficial relationships with communities across the state and beyond.
