FIDA Week Culminates in Celebration of Excellence, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha Honored

The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) marked its annual week with a grand lecture, luncheon, and award ceremony held on Saturday, 7th of December, 2024, at the FIDA Law Centre, Awka. The event brought together prominent legal practitioners, academics, and humanitarian leaders to celebrate achievements and foster discussions on pivotal societal issues.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious Humanitarian Leadership Excellence Award to Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, recognizing her exceptional contributions to education, leadership, and humanitarian endeavors. Prof. Omenugha’s work continues to inspire and uplift communities, making her a deserving recipient of this honor.
The Ag. Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, was ably represented at the event by Prof. Njideka Ebisi, a distinguished Professor of Sociology. In her remarks, Prof. Ebisi conveyed the Ag. Vice Chancellor’s gratitude for the recognition and reiterated her commitment to promoting leadership and humanitarian service in her roles.
