We are excited to celebrate one of our Faculty Members, Prof. C.C. Nwobi-Okoye for being honoured as one of the World’s Highly Ranked Scholars – top 0.05% in Generic algorithm by ScholarGPS.
He is being being celebrated in recognition of his productivity, noteworthy impact, and quality of scholarly work .
Dr. Chidozi Nwobi-Okoye is a distinguished Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering, renowned for his extensive contributions to optimization, artificial intelligence applications in engineering, energy systems modeling, and operations research.
He has as played a significant role in advancing research globally, serving as a reviewer for top-tier international journals. His outstanding service was recognized with Elsevier’s Outstanding Reviewer Award in 2018, and he was nominated for the prestigious ENI Award often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Energy Research” in 2012.
In 2018, Times Higher Education (THE) named him one of the most highly regarded individuals in academia worldwide and invited him to serve on expert panels for global university rankings in 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the African Journal of Education Science and Technology (AJEST), published by IUCA.
