The Acting Vice Chancellor of Ojukwu University, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha held a productive session with more than 110 professors in the Senate Chambers on Wednesday, 6th of December, 2024.
Chairing the meeting, Prof. Omenugha emphasized the importance of collaboration among professors, highlighting their pivotal role in leading the university forward. She delved into her vision and mission for the institution, employing a comprehensive SWOT analysis to assess its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Prof. Omenugha underscored the necessity of fostering a synergy of ideas to elevate the university’s standing nationally and internationally expressing the ambition to rebrand Ojukwu University as the premier institution in Nigeria as well as getting to listen to Professors as they give their opinions.
She emphasized her commitment to protecting students from exploitation. In her words,
“… Do not exploit our students. I will rise and defend them because what destroys the world is not atomic bombs but the erosion of education so please do the right thing.”
