i Notice to Prospective Students
The Management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) hereby informs the general public—especially all prospective students—that the admission and registration process for the 2025/2026 academic session has commenced. Candidates are to follow the steps below:
- Visit the COOU Portal: go to portal.coou.edu.ng.
- Check Admission Status: at the top-left of the homepage, click “Check Admission Status”.
- Generate & Pay Admission Status Fee: create an invoice for ₦1,750 and pay via Remita (online with a debit card or at any bank).
- Log In: return to the portal and click “Login” at the top-right.
- Verify Account & Update Biodata: on the lower left, click “Verify Account”, enter your JAMB Registration Number, and complete your biodata.
- Acceptance Fee: generate an invoice for ₦60,000 and pay via Remita (online or at any bank).
- Acceptance Letter & Faculty Clearance: after successful payment, return to the portal to print your Acceptance Letter and proceed to your Faculty with all relevant credentials for Faculty Clearance.
- School Fees: after clearance, return to the portal to pay your school fees.
- Matriculation Number: print your School Fees Receipt from the portal to obtain your Matriculation Number.
