BAR WEEK 2022: Nigerian Bar Association, Otuocha Branch Honours COOU Vice Chancellor.

NKWELLE-EZUNAKA: The Nigerian Bar Association, Otuocha Branch, Anambra State, on Friday 10th June 2022, honours the Vice Chancellor, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Greg C. Nwakoby, with a meritorious award in recognition of his services to the Bar.

The Vice Chancellor was ably represented by the Director of Academic Planning of the University, Prof. Emeka Obi.

In his brief remarks, the Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Justice Pete Obiorah eulogized the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Greg Nwakoby, recanting their early days in the Secondary School and how discipline, determination, focus and sincerity of purpose has defined the man “Greg Nwakoby” right from childhood. He prayed for Gods continued strength on him as continue to contribute his best to the Bar, mankind and the society at large.

The 2022 Bar Week themed; “The Impact of Technology On 21st Century Law Practice & Justice Delivery” had Prof. Ikenga Oraegbunam and Prof. Peter Okonkwo as speakers.

Other dignitaries include; Prof. Charles C. Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State as the Special Guest of Honour and Hon. Justice O. M. Anyachebelu as the Chief Host.

The event took place at Kevotel Hotels, Nkwelle Bypass, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Anambra State.
