ONE YEAR IN OFFICE: Faculty of Physical Sciences Presents Anniversary Cake To The Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha

The 132nd Senate meeting, convened on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Senate Chamber, Igbariam Campus, marked a notable departure from its customary proceedings as the Faculty Board of Physical Sciences led by the Dean, Prof. K. K. Nwozor, ably represented by the Associate Dean, Prof. Emmanuel Onyema Iloh, presented an Anniversary cake to herald the 1-year office of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr.

Recall that on December 5th, 2023, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha took over as the Acting Vice Chancellor of COOU. The Anniversary will be commemorated on Thursday 5th of December, 2024.

Under her administration, the Acting Vice Chancellor has propelled the University to extraordinary echelons of academic distinction, building an array of strategic partnerships and collaborations across the world.

 

Presenting the cake, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, ably represented by the Associate Dean, Prof. Emmanuel Onyema Iloh, conveyed their profound gratitude to the Acting Vice Chancellor for her commitment and transformative impact.

He further expressed appreciation for the Acting Vice Chancellor’s ceaseless support of the Faculty, particularly towards their recently concluded FAPSCON conference, which was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Nonye Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State. With eager anticipation, they look forward to the enduring success, prosperity and groundbreaking achievements that the forthcoming years of her administration are poised to deliver.
