COOU’s GLOBAL VISIBILITY SOARS AS PROF. NNEKA RITA NNOROM PRESENTS INNOVATIVE STEM RESEARCH IN TURKEY

Prof. Nneka Rita Nnorom has strengthened the visibility of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) on the international academic stage with the presentation of a research paper at the 7th International STEM Education Conference held at Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul, Turkey, from September 19 to 20, 2026.

The conference, organised by STEM-PD and themed “Emerging Technologies and STEM Education,” brings together scholars, researchers and education stakeholders to examine emerging technologies and innovative approaches to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.

Prof. Nnorom presented a paper titled “Effect of Flipped Classroom Instructional Strategy on Upper Basic School Students’ Achievement in Basic Science and Technology in Anambra State, Nigeria.” Her research contributes to ongoing scholarly conversations on technology-supported teaching strategies and the improvement of students’ learning outcomes.

Her participation reflects the commitment of the University’s academic community to research, knowledge exchange and continuous professional development. It also aligns with the transformative vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, FNIPR, particularly her 3Vs mantra of Values, Viability and Visibility, which promotes academic excellence and enhances the University’s presence within the global scholarly community.
