Programme Duration


The Bachelor of Science Degree Programme in Estate Management shall last for a minimum period of Ten (10) Semesters (i.e. Five academic years) for holders of Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education. However, no student shall be granted an extension for more than half of the normal duration (i.e. Fifteen Semester or 7 ½ academic years) of the programme if he fails to graduate within the minimum duration. For direct entry student s admitted to 200 level, the duration is four years while other candidates admitted with HND into 300 level are expected to spend three years.


The degree to be awarded on successful completion of the programme is known as Bachelor of Science in Estate Management abbreviated B.Sc.   ((Estate Management).

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS                                                                                                

The award of B.Sc. Estate Management degree is subject to the candidate fulfilling the University general conditions for award of degrees in addition to having satisfied the following:

  • The candidate must have passed all the prescribed compulsory courses including University requirement courses.
  • The candidate must have completed a minimum total credit unit of 191.
  • The candidate must have successfully completed a semester of industrial work/practical experience in recognized and approved organization; a report of which must be in abound type written form.
  • The candidate must have successfully completed a research work embodied in the form of a project or dissertation report; and
  • The candidate must have shown sufficient evidence of being worthy in character.
